Prof. Ofer Amir
Speech Pathologist
Prof. Ofer Amir (Ph.D.) is a certified speech pathologist who specializes in two fields:

Speech Fluency (stuttering, cluttering, speech rate)

Voice Disorders (hoarseness, high pitch, low voice, professional voice)
Prof. Amir conducts speech and voice evaluations since 1992. Over the years 1995-1998 he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Illinois, (Urbana-Champaign, USA).
Beyond his extensive clinical work, Prof. Ofer Amir is a Full Professor at Tel-Aviv University. Over the years 2014-2107 he was the head of the Department of Communication Disorders, where he is currently a senior faculty member and a researcher.
In addition to his academic activities, Prof. Ofer Amir works at the Institute of Speech and Hearing Disorders at the Sheba Medical Center. He performs speech and voice evaluations, supervises students and clinicians and provides professional guidance at the Sheba Medical center's "voice clinic", jointly with Dr. Adi Primov-Fever.
